
Student Media has recently hired its student leaders for the 2018-19 academic year:
- Nick Hazelrigg will serve as editor-in-chief of The OU Daily for summer 2018. Hazelrigg, a rising political science junior and native of Owasso, Oklahoma, previously worked as a senior news reporter covering the Student Government Association and news editor. He provided extensive coverage of the presidential search process during the spring 2018 semester.
- Kayla Branch will serve as editor-in-chief of The OU Daily for fall 2018. Branch, a rising journalism senior and native of Chickasha, Oklahoma, previously worked as a news reporter, news editor, assistant news managing editor and enterprise editor. Last summer she interned at The Norman Transcript. This summer she’s interning with The Oklahoman’s investigative team.
- Megan Ross will serve as the 2018-19 editor-in-chief of the Features Division, which includes Sooner yearbook and Crimson Quarterly magazine. Ross, a rising journalism senior and native of Romeo, Michigan, previously worked as a photographer, assistant photo editor and photo editor. This summer she’s interning with News21 based at Arizona State University.

Jessie Fullinwider will serve as ad manager for the 2018-19 school year. Fullinwider, who will be an advertising junior, is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. She served as an account executive in spring 2018 and previously served as a member of the marketing team.

Jessica Haralson will serve as assistant ad manager in summer 2018 and through the fall and spring semesters. Haralson, a rising sophomore, is a Norman native and previously served as an account executive.
