Judy Gibbs Robinson, editorial adviser to The Oklahoma Daily and OUDaily.com, loves nothing more than an hour spent with a cup of good coffee and a great newspaper. Nevertheless, she has really, truly accepted that it’s about journalism, not about newspapers. Her 20-plus years with The Associated Press helped her appreciate the 24 hour news cycle that defines online journalism today. A University of Missouri journalism grad, she was among the first to earn a master’s degree from OU’s then new Gaylord College in 2001. After a stint teaching journalism at OU, she spent four years reporting on minority affairs at The Oklahoman before coming back to campus in 2007 to become The Daily’s adviser.
