Student Media has announced its student leaders for the 2017-18 academic year.
• Kelli Stacy will serve as editor-in-chief of The Oklahoma Daily for summer 2017. Stacy, who will be a journalism senior in the fall, will also be responsible for editing The OU Daily New Student Guide and producing the Back-to-School edition. Kelli has been a sports reporter on the football beat. She will be sports editor in the fall. The OU Publications Board selected her for the summer job at its April 14 meeting.
• Jesse Pound will serve as editor-in-chief of The Oklahoma Daily for the fall 2017 semester. Pound, who will be a journalism and economics senior in the fall, has been the Daily’s enterprise editor in spring 2017, working across the newsroom to oversee two immersive, multimedia projects. He has also worked on the sports and news desks. Jesse was selected by the OU Publications Board at its March 10 meeting.
• Rachel Schaub will serve as editor-in-chief of Sooner yearbook 2018. Schaub was managing editor of Sooner 2017. She will be a professional writing senior in the fall.
• Brianica Steenbock will return as the student advertising manager of OU AdForce. Steenbok is a rising philosophy senior. Chance Jones, advertising senior, will be assistant ad manager.
