Daily alum Jennifer Johnson Hicks named deputy chief news editor at The Wall Street Journal

Exciting alumni news to share: Congrats to Jennifer Johnson Hicks, who recently was promoted to the role of deputy chief news editor for The Wall Street Journal. In this capacity, she’ll lead the WSJ’s digital presentation across all platforms. Hicks, a 2002 OU alum and a 2016 OU Student Media Hall of Fame inductee, has been at the Journal since 2004 and most recently oversaw the newsroom’s work with Apple News and other editorial partners.
