Student Media staff might not have known the commitment they were making when they hired Stacy Wehrenberg after she'd worked only two hours as a temp. Thirteen years later, she tearfully left the department to fulfill a lifelong dream: trying her hand at PR. With Student Media forever in her heart, it only took one glance at the director's name on caller ID to know she was coming home. Stacy flew back to take the business office manager position, where she orchestrates details throughout the department, from dealing directly with clients and ad staff to painstakingly organizing the morgue.
Twenty-three years later, she refuses to leave, claiming the students keep her young. Someday soon we may be looking at a retirement party for a 60- year-old who feels 30!
